Frontier vs Centennial at West

The boy's race between Centennial and Frontier looks like it was a good one with ten athletes within a minute of each other. The race was won by Beechinor (17:04) by 3 seconds over Millan (17:07) of Centennial. With their two wins today, Frontier is now 2 - 2 and Centennial is 2 - 3 in SWYL duel meet action.

The girl's races were really close and I am sure it took a bit of ciphering to figure out what happen. In the end, came away with two very close wins. they beat West by three and Centennial by one. Their SWYL record is now 2 - 2. Frontier was lead D La Rosa (20:31) who came in second overall in the double duel.

The Golden Hawks beat West by one point also. They were lead by Jorey Braughton (20:37) who came third overall in the double duel.

The one bright spot for West was that their runner Habebo won the overall race in a time of 20:14. it is also good to see the Vikings being competitive again. Over the past seasons they have been handed a lot of 15 to 40+ scores (Other team's scoring five beats their top runner). This season they beat South and gave both Frontier and Centennial a run for their money.
