Aquatic classes at the BRC by Lerma

Aquatic Classes Begin June 8th

Looking for a new summer fitness program and a little gravity lift? Come try out BRC’s summer aquatic classes. First week participants will enter a drawing to win equipment and other prizes. That is a little incentive to brave the early June water temperatures, but once we start moving the water is perfect. This year BRC club members can try out a class for half price on Fridays in June. That is only $3.50 a class. All classes will remain $7.00 per hour class and a$70.00 for an eleven class pass. Equipment used in class is available for sale/rent at pool-side.

Here is the summer line-up:

Shallow/Deep Cardio Resistance - Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00 am

Deep Water Cardio/Core Training - Tuesday, Thursday Evenings 7:00 p.m.

Deep Water Running - Saturday (dates to be added)

Aqua Boot Camp - Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 6:00 am
Three week long sessions - June 15, July 13, August 3

These 6:00 am classes are guaranteed to produce total fitness results and add fun to fitness.Personal aquatic training, nutrition and weight-loss programs available individual and small groups. Also, sports cross training available for teams and individuals.

  1. Hi Water Friends,

Water Fitness at BRC begins this week! The water feels great and those beautiful blue pools are just as inviting as a dip in the cool blue Caribbean sea, well almost. I'm looking forward to a great season of fitness, friends and all the surprises that come along with a summer at The Racquet Club, pool-side.

Check out the new Aquatic section on the BRC Website at www.brctennis.com. There is a complete time schedule of classes and other aquatic activities like Gabe Woodward's Swim School. Deep Water Running on Saturdays will begin June 27th and start at 11:00 a.m. The later time will accommodate high school runners that can't make the early 9 am class.

Any Aqua Boot Camp takers? You will not be disappointed. Gabe, our local olympian will be helping lead this early morning fun. Lois will be back on Tuesday nights for deep water core and cardio and Bretley Roche, one of our great lifeguards is training to lead classes.

As many of you have heard me say often, I love summer water classes at BRC, this is my favorite time of year. Please pass this on to any friends you would like to invite.

    See you soon,

    Nancy Lerma
